Temporary Halt in U.S. Orders
2025-10-05
UPDATE -- We are shipping to the U.S. again.
Tl;dr: Service has been restored, happy shopping!
The tariff-induced shipping disruption has largely been resolved. We are now resuming shipments to the U.S., but under different terms imposed by the shipping companies.
The shippers are currently exclusively using the PDDP (Postal Delivered Duty Paid) model. This means that you, as the recipient, are responsible for paying all duties upfront when you place an order.
Before you proceed to pay for your order, you’ll have complete transparency about all the taxes, tariffs, and fees (which we won’t keep anything of) in the order process. This ensures that you’re fully informed before committing to the payment and order. Additionally, you won’t incur any extra charges upon delivery, making the last mile of the delivery process smoother and more hassle-free.
Please be aware that the rates may fluctuate over time, either increasing or decreasing. The exact direction of these changes is uncertain at this point. We will collect empirical data in the near future and will be able to adjust the shipping costs based on the actual expenses incurred by DHL. (We do not intend to make a profit from the shipping and handling costs.)
The former low-cost (USPS) option is unfortunately no longer available because it would be impossible to collect the now mandatory duties upfront. Consequently, shipping will be limited to DHL for the time being.

Effective immediately, we are forced to TEMPORARILY stop shipping to the United States due to the sudden halt in operations by all shippers for all shipments of small-scale orders (formerly known as “de minimis” shipments, valued at less than $800) for the foreseeable future.
It appears that no one has anticipated the consequences and the intricate details of the tariff collection requirements. While everyone is now actively working on resolving this issue, there is currently no immediate solution.
It’s time to get creative, find mules, or wait until reshippers are ready to handle the task.
For reference, here is the DHL press release.
I will keep you informed about significant developments and provide practical solutions.
Thank you for your attention to this IMPORTANT matter.
Free trade, baby!
